This site contains many images covering a variety of topics. All of them can be ordered as prints and can also be licensed for publication. There are also password protected private galleries of riders at horse events.
Landscapes, horses, water, trains, beaches, farms, churches...why are there so many topics shown here? I enjoy pointing the camera at just about anything and have done so often. I enjoy what I do. Various types of photography are interesting challenges to me, but plainly, simply making a picture is always enjoyable. My self taught skills took a long time to develop and much from the eary days didn't count whatsoever...but I learned.
For years, I traveled the summer art show circuit in the eastern US for a full time living, taking fine art pictures as I went. Many images were gathered during those travels, some by pursuing a particular subject, and others through just going about looking with eyes open. Many times, it was simply found as it was and photographed, or returned to later when the light had improved.
I also create a different kind of image for use by publishers that are sold around the world through large stock photography agenices. Many of those pictures are done under studio lighting, inside, aiming for a certain concept or advertising purpose. You will see some galleries of these images here as well.
